As you know, there is a lot of love that goes into formatting your books. This means there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. To give you a starting point, here is a sample copy of my work. Yours can look very similar to this, or you can request changes to create your own unique style.

From you I need the following in your manuscript, or additional files.

Send your files as:

  • Google Docs
  • Word
  • TXT
  • Do NOT send PDFs

If you are sending separate files, please name them what they are, such as MY AWESOME BOOK – ACKNOWELDGEMENTS:

  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Introduction (if applicable)
  • Preamble (if applicable)
  • Body of work
  • Thank you for reading script
  • Any preview or sneak peak you want at the back
  • Your “also by” list
  • Any needed pictures (in jpg or png format) including :
    • Scene breaks
    • Chapter header
    • Additional illustrations (map of world, etc)
